I shall be at Storage Expo in the UK on Thursday, so I might see some of the UK-based storage community there. I find it’s always interesting for a variety of reasons
- How big is Pillar’s stand? It seems to grow every year!
- How yellow are the 3Par t-shirts?
- Who used to be on the EMC stand and is now on the NetApp/3Par/IBM etc stand?
- Do I recognise anyone on the Copan stand and have they all left again?
- How much capital will HP try to make out of the V in EVA standing for virtualisation?
- Who has a terrible hangover?
- Will anyone try to sell me Microsoft’s storage server and not get laughed at?
And this year because I don’t work in the Finance industry and the company I work for may have some money, perhaps people will want to talk to me?
